African wild dog
Our lead cause: tracking packs, helping farmers live alongside them, and safer roads for every pack.
US$100 helps run a camera trap at a den site through the denning seasonThe story
Botswana holds around a third of the African wild dogs left in the wild. They range across hundreds of kilometres, so they leave the parks and meet farmland, roads, snares and disease from village dogs. Your gift supports pack tracking with collars, camera traps and guest photos, predator-proof kraals and quick help for cattle farmers, and vaccinating village dogs against rabies and distemper. We name our conservation partner here as soon as the agreement is signed.
